Celebrating the 20th birthday of this underpowered, heavy and bulky, but long lasting laptop!
I`ll always remember when it was running Windows, a long long time ago, and I got that infamous blue screen of death. And I followed the procedures to the letter of trying to reset and reinstall the Windows operating system of the day. I don`t know how I managed to be so patient, but I let it run through its paces for probably 36 hours. And suddenly, it was back.
Over the years, while it could still run Windows, it got significantly slower. This, despite a couple of key hardware upgrades this old beast would tolerate. So with its ancient processor and puny amount of RAM, I made the decision to have Linux installed. All things considered, it runs quite well under Linux, and I`m a happy camper to have kept it.

Yes, @windows has #phonelink (and @android has the companion app to that), but in my experience - this is what my screen capture shows - if you have a @samsung device, #samsungdex is the better way to go. You can expand its window to full-screen, and in doing that, work with any Android app in a much bigger space, doing things you normally can do with multiple windows.

After a *steep* price hike, and too many suggestions of why I should upgrade even further for $22.50/month (yeah, you read that right), I`m more than a little disappointed with @evernote support. I write them rarely. When I did recently, through the app, I received a boilerplate email reply saying if I really needed support I should email them again! Why? Because they are "restructuring" how they offer support. Really? And I wrote them in the first place why?

Just saying ... I already have OneNote, which in my estimation doesn`t measure up to Evernote. But, it`s backed by massive support and knowledgebases.
