Writing about technology-based subjects started out as a hobby. In the early 1990s it became a necessity, as I entered the world of higher education. While I had made some money on document production in the 1980s, it was really the College (I still teach there) that gave me plenty of opportunities to write about technology. I have always developed most of my own presentation material, plus have written a software manual or two over the years.

I have been afforded many openings beyond the classroom. For example, I’ve created annotations and lessons for instructor resources, developed marking rubrics, and most recently was credited as one of three contributing writers of a textbook for Microsoft® Office 2013.

Detail-oriented writing comes fairly easily to me because I’ve been immersed in learning about hard- and software developments since the 1980s. If you need help developing instructional material, please get in touch with me.
